Husband and wife team who attract local clients by their bickering antics which is clearly a bit of a show which the clients enjoy and spend a lot of time laughing about. My wife and I popped in for a mid afternoon cold beer and tapas, sat at the bar and watched as the show unfolded. We had no idea what was happening or being said but the wife would be pouring some beer whilst husband out back making food. She'd be ranting on fairly loudly making hand gestures and then, when she went outside to serve clients, he'd come out and sound off his reply with everyone in the bar giggling away and joining in. She could hear all this outside, so when she came in, she had her reply and he snuck back into kitchen, so clients all laughed at her rant. This went on for a while and everyone was in a good mood. There were only a handful of clients but it was a good atmosphere and made for an entertaining hour. It's a small, and very local type tapas bar. No thrills and typical Spanish food but an enjoyable visit.

Eat like a local: traditional breakfast - toasted bread with olive oil, tomato mix and ham. Orange juice is super good and cappuccino is also well made! Authentic place

This was a lovely place to enjoy the square and Spanish culture. The local owners were pleasant and friendly. We made this a daily staple and was a favorite part of our day.

Very nice place in the city center. If you want to have a good breakfast with a Good jamon currado and coffee, go there.

My fifth breakfast in Cádiz and it’s the best and most authentic yet. Orange juice was fresh and lots of it. Coffee was very good and came in large size. Toast with tomatoes and olive oil my wife really enjoyed. I loved my ham and cheese toast too. Overlooking a busy open square with locals milling about working and chatting. Recommended.
